Hello! Thank you for taking the time to be here. I went back to school after working for years as an Activity Manager for Celebrity Cruises. I’m from Durham, NC and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Game Art & Development.
I’ve been studying constantly for the past five years and I don’t intend to stop. Here’s what I’ve been learning.
Unreal Engine - I’ve been working on my own game prototypes and studying art pipelines and tools.
Houdini - I love all things procedural, and I’m new to Houdini but I’ve been using it to process scans, make LOD’s, and simulate a variety of … simulations!
Blender - modeling, rigging, PBR texturing, grooming, lighting, simulations, all of the nodes.
Substance Painter & Designer - I’ve been enhancing my substance designer skills recently and have used Substance Painter for the past few years.
Zbrush & Maya - I am proficient in both, but usually stick to blender because I can. I’ve modeled, rigged, and groomed fur in Maya, and have put many hours into Zbrush. Just give me one moment to remember the hotkeys.
Adobe Photoshop & After Effects: I’ve used Photoshop for most of my life, and have used After Effects for motion design in my freelance work.
I watch tutorials instead of TV, am comfortable speaking in front of thousands, and am looking for a place to continue growing.
Thank you,
Greg
